  • Time to investigate us again
  • It was very bright!
  • And then into the shadow of the ship...
  • Another male approached us - the eyes of a top predator
  • Our sister ship, the M/V Freya, arrived to see the action. They were also able to get close to the carcass by drifting to the edge of the ice floe
  • A group of bears was spotted in the far distance and nearing them we could see five near a carcass
  • Back on the ice
  • Later in the evening we drifted past the family as they snoozed.....
  • Our last and great view of the cubs
