One female cub was very inquisitive

  • Five full bears!
  • A very fat female!
  • Untitled photo
  • Some male bears were obviously replete!
  • Our first mother and cubs, but so well separated that I had trouble photographing them in a single frame! This was the mother
  • The edge of the pack ice
  • Fang in reflective mood
  • Another cautious approach. This bear had a torn upper lip so was always photographed on his "good" side!
  • A female bear near Kong Karls Land
  • Just one bear remained on the carcass in the evening
  • Ice, Glaucous Gull, Polar Bear and Narwhal skin!
  • One female cub was very inquisitive
  • The family then settled down for a good snooze!
