Norway 2015
We spent a week in February on the island of Finnoya, roughly midway between Bodo and Narvik. The trip was organised by Warwick Lister-Kaye and Aigas, and our hosts were Robin Buzza and Kitty Skapalen. The island is idyllic and the wildlife abundant, including eagles, moose, otters and a wide variety of birds. Robin and Kitty were fantastic hosts and it was a privilege staying in their wonderful wooden turf-roofed Nordlandshuset. The complete absence of light pollution means that views of the aurora and indeed the whole night sky are amazing.
