Baja and the Sea of Cortez 2017

This was our fifth trip to Baja and the Sea of Cortez and we had another amazing time. Every trip has been different and this time, as always, there were many highlights. Firsts for us were Rattleless Rattlesnakes and Pygmy Beaked Whales (an astonishly rare and good encounter). We also had incredible sightings of Blue Whales including a mother and very young and playful calf, and Short-finned Pilot Whales in perfectly calm clear seas. Add to that all the other fantastic sightings and great company plus of course the incredible Captain Mike Keating and all his crew of the Spirit of Adventure. Last but not least as always the trip was made perfect by Rachel Ashton and Mark Carwardine - brilliant people!!
