Baja 2018

Baja seems to be rather addictive and every time we visit we have seen something different and spectacular and this time was no exception. The weather was windier and colder than usual which was a little disruptive in San Ignacio Lagoon, but nonetheless we had some lovely Grey Whale encounters by staying an extra day. There were many other highlights - Humpback action off the Gorda Banks, Mobula Rays leaping around, dolphin action and last but absolutely not least an encounter with ninety Sperm Whales in three groups close together in the Sea of Cortez.

As always huge thanks to Mark Carwardine and Rachel Ashton for all the organisation, help and fun. Also to Captain Mike Keating and his fantastic crew for everything - they are the best!
